AT&T today altered the cost and structure of its 10GB (and higher) Mobile Share Plan, representing a significant savings for families or small businesses. Starting February 2, two smartphones can get unlimited voice minutes and messaging plus 10GB of data for $130 per month. Each additional smartphone line costs another $15 per month, so three lines will cost $145, four lines will cost $160, and five lines will cost $175. The same rates apply for up to 10 lines. AT&T said this new plan pricing does not apply to GoPhone plans nor machine-to-machine lines. Rather, customers are expected to select an AT&T Next plan.

WOW!!!

I just called at&t and it looks like I am going to be switching to this plan tomorrow. They confirmed that my company discount would also apply to this as well so the plan would only be $80 and $15 per phone!!! Incredible
One thing to keep in mind is that it's $15 if the line is off-contract, something I didn't recognize at first.

Still, pretty amazing. Just not enough details yet. What's the contract pricing, still $40? Did it drop to $30 again (which would be cool...

...
It amazes me that anyone would be pleased to learn that they have been over paying for a service and are finally going to be paying less.

You want a summary?

Example: 10GB MBSV = $100

Each phone REGARDLESS of situation, that has been activated BEFORE 02/02/14 will cost $15 - basic, smart, 2 year, NEXT - whatever scenario you're imagining.

Scenario: 2 iPhone 5s that have been activated since September 2013 - cost? $100 + $15 * 2 = $130.

2 year contract AFTER 02/02/14? Don't bother.

Any other activation after 02/02/14 that ISN'T a 2 year contract will make your line $15 - 2 year = $40.

TLDR; 2 years are going away, and ATT is making it almost impossible to resist the urge to go any other way. The pricing is absolutely amazing for the network you get.

15 GB $130 + $15 * 3 = $175 (unlim text and talk). Yeah... 😎
