Microsoft today made available a revised version of Facebook for Windows Phone. The updated social networking app makes improvements to notifications, which are now pushed more regularly to the Live Tile. Facebook also added secondary Live Tiles, which let users pin specific events, groups, pages, or photo albums to the Start Screen. These secondary Live Tiles each support notifications for their respective function, separate from the main Live Tile. Facebook for Windows Phone now supports 50 languages, as well as stickers, and emoticons within messaging. Last, the app gains some reliability and performance tweaks. Facebook for Windows Phone is free to download from the Windows Phone Store.
