Ting Offering Spark Speeds to Select Phones

Ting, an MVNO that runs on Sprint's network, says it is the first to offer devices compatible with Sprint's Spark service. Sprint Spark relies on tri-band LTE devices to boost mobile broadband speeds on its data network. Spark is only available in five markets right now, but will expand to about 100 by the end of 2014. According to Ting, its variants of the Samsung Galaxy Mega, Galaxy S4 Mini, and LG G2 are all able to interact with Spark. Ting CEO Scott Allen told Fierce Wireless that Sprint's willingness to allow its MVNO customers to offer Spark demonstrates "Sprint's commitment to wholesale and their good faith as partner." Other providers that use Sprint's network, such as Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, have yet to claim that they offer Spark-compatible devices.

Like T-Mobile's REVVL V+ 5G, the Celero5G is manufactured by Wingtech and powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, (but the two phones differ in size and specs.) The Celero5G has a 6.5-inch display, 4,000 mAh battery, 4 GB RAM, and 64 GB storage, expandable by up to 2 TB.

T-Mobile Maps its Expanded High-Speed 5G Coverage

As T-Mobile continues to expand its 5G network, PCMag reports that the company has updated its coverage maps to differentiate between its faster "Ultra Capacity" 5G and its slower but more widely-available "Extended Range" 5G. T-Mobile's 5G Ultra Capacity network uses a mid-band frequency (2.5 GHz, AKA band 41, which was inherited from Sprint) that offers faster data speeds than most sub-6 GHz 5G, and much better coverage than mmWave 5G.

Boost Updates its Celero Phones for 2024

Boost has launched new 2024 versions of its own-brand Celero5G and Celero5G+ affordable 5G phones. The phones have updated designs that are more stylish than most such white-label phones.

They don't

Right now only those specific phone models mentioned are able to access Spark. I don't think Virgin or Boost offer any of those phones. Ting is awesome. They offer service in my area and now have Spark access that is pretty awesome. I might have to check them out.
