Sony Ericsson Revises, Expands Walkman Phone Line

Sony Ericsson today announced it has revised the specs of the W600 spinner-style Walkman phone. The phone will now be quad-band GSM / EDGE instead of tri-band (850/1800/1900) as previously announced. The name has also been slightly changed to the W600i. Despite the "i" moniker that typically indicates a tri-band phone for EMEA, Sony Ericsson has said the W600i will begin shipping in the Americas early Q4. Sony Ericsson also announced the W550i, a tri-band (900/1800/1900) version of the phone the phone that is the same as the W600 except that it lacks EDGE data.

Samsung today announced its lineup of flagship phones for 2022: the Galaxy S22 series. The top-end S22 Ultra sees the biggest changes as it essentially absorbs Samsung's Note series with an integrated S Pen stylus and a more Note-like shape and design, instead of the Contour Cut design of the other models.
