Why Siemens Failed

Siemens failed in the US because most consumers go for cheap phones, and they get what they pay for. Exhibit A: the Siemens A56 - free=garbage. This was the phone that introduced many American consumers to siemens mobile phone division, and a lot of people never looked back. The slider was a cool phone, but it was so expensive that not many people got it. (for Cingular anyway)
