BlackBerry Says Skype to Be Available Next Month

BlackBerry today said that it expects Skype for BlackBerry 10 to be available at about the same time the Q10 smartphone goes on sale. The Q10 is scheduled to hit stores in late May. Skype is one of many significant apps still not available to the BlackBerry 10 platforms.

Impressive....

I am surprised Blackberry is still alive... They are so late on everything and their latest tech is mediocre at best compared to everyone else.

Given that they have never released a phone with a front facing camera before, and therefore neither a need nor a use for a Skype app, the fact that it only took about a month to six weeks to get Skype added to the app store actually IS pretty fast an...
