Samsung today took the wraps off their ultra-thin answer to the RAZR at a Korean wireless expo. The SCH-V740 is a 14.5 mm thick CDMA clamshell for the Korean market. The handset features Bluetooth, a 1.3 Megapixel camera and 176 x 220 internal screen. It also has advanced software features such as mp3 playback with play controls on the outside of the flip as well as file viewer software. The phone is expected to compete with the CDMA RAZR, which Motorola will launch in Korea next month.

dude, the RAZR is one ugly thing, its nice and thin but the shape of the unit and the fat speaker at the bottom make the V3 one really ugly phone. I prefer the samsung over the RAZR any day. Looks more professional too.
Who cares if its attractive? a phone is for making calls...its not part of a mating dance....ghees

Antenna location?

Wonder where Samsung stuck the internal antenna? Supposedly the bulge under the flip on the RAZR is for the antenna... looks to me like the antenna might be in the top half of the flip, but that would seem rediculous...
Internal antenna just like the A800/820/840/880/940/970.

EVDO capable?

I was wondering if this phone supports EVDO? I think almost every phone released in Korea supports EVDO.
I answered my own question. It does support EVDO. Here it is right on this pic showing the product highlights.
