Sony to Make Firefox OS Device, Too

Sony Mobile recently revealed that it, too, will support the new Firefox mobile operating system. According to Sony, its engineers are already working on Firefox and HTML on devices that may arrive next year. The news came as part of a broader announcement about collaboration between Sony and Telefonica.

Looks like everyone is getting on board

With this and the Ubuntu Linux smartphone OS both being developed, hopefully we will see some greater competition in smartphones, the last thing we need is a continuation of the iPhone/Android duopoly....
Agreed!

Although, it would be nice to see them make a wp8 device, too. But, that may have more to do with their direct competition in the gaming arena.
