Rhapsody Gains Carrier Billing Support from AT&T

Rhapsody announced that it has signed a carrier billing agreement with AT&T in order to make it simpler for subscribers to pay for its service. AT&T customers can now add the monthly Rhapsody subscription fee to their AT&T bill.

Clipper Card — the universal transit fare card for all 24 San Francisco Bay Area transit agencies — will be supported in Apple Pay and Google Pay digital wallets "this spring". Residents and visitors will be able to add a stored-value Clipper card to their digital wallet and tap their phones to ride transit, replacing a physical Clipper card.

The Square Point of Sale app now fully supports Tap to Pay on iPhone, allowing any iPhone (11 or newer) to act as a payment terminal able to accept NFC (tap) payments without any additional hardware. Previously, merchants needed a separate hardware accessory to accept any kind of in-person card or tap payments.
