Groupon 2.0 for iOS and Android Goes Big on Photos

Groupon today released version 2.0 of its Android and iOS application. The new software has a simplified user interface that uses a scrolling carousel rather than tabs to make it easier to find local merchants and Groupon daily deals. The app also incorporates more, larger photos of everyday deals and adds more color throughout the design. The app is a free download from both the iPhone App Store and Google Play Store.

What???

Did the site just barf up an old article? I ask because Groupon 2.0 has been out for Android for over a month, maybe closer to two months. In fact, the last release, 2.0.2414, was released on August 8.
