Microsoft today rolled out a number of changes to its SkyDrive online storage service. Among the new features headed to Microsoft's cloud syncing service is a refreshed design for desktop and tablet browsers; faster performance for the Windows and Mac OS clients; and improved APIs for developers. Microsoft also announced that it is soon going to release a version of SkyDrive that is compatible with Google's Android platform. Users of Android devices will be able to access, upload, and share photos, files, and other data to and from their Android phones. SkyDrive for Android is due to arrive in the next several weeks.
