U.S. Cellular Intros Two New Motorolas
- The Electrify 2 sports a 4.3-inch qHD display with ColorBoost, 8-megapixel camera, Android 4.0 and a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. Other features include 8 GB of memory plus a memory card slot, 1080p video capture, global roaming, and a 1780 mAh battery.The Electrify is available online today and in stores tomorrow.
- The Defy XT is water-resistant and dust-proof. It has a 3.7-inch display and 5-megapixel camera. It has a 1 GHz processor and Android 2.3. It will be available August 3rd.
Moto's new g-series phones bring up-to-date features, upgraded specs, and clean Google software to three models ranging from $200 to $300. This year's series moves to a notched-screen design, steps up to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor, and supports USB-C across the board.

Motorola recently revised the customer support page that lists which smartphones will receive updated versions of Android and approximately when those updates will arrive. The RAZR M, RAZR HD, and MAXX HD have all received Jelly Bean.

Motorola has updated the list of devices that will receive updated versions of Android and is revealing for the first time those slated to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The Droid RAZR M, RAZR HD, and MAXX HD are all schedule to receive the Jelly Bean update before the end of the year.

Motorola today announced the Moto e6, a $150 Android phone with a 13-megapixel main camera and portrait mode, in a new design that drops the iconic Motorola look in favor of something more like an iPhone. Motorola calls the design "unibody", although the battery is removable.

Motorola today announced the Motorola One and Motorola One Power, two inexpensive phones that run the Android One platform. Motorola says these phones will be among the first to be updated to Android 9 Pie, and will receive security/feature updates for three years.
