AT&T Adds Premium Channels to U-Verse iOS App

AT&T today announced a significant update to the U-Verse television application for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. The new U-Verse app adds premium content to the fold, including programming from HBO, Cinemax, Starz, Encore, Movieplex, and Music Choice — all for free. The new U-Verse app allows iPad users to link their iPad to their U-Verse receiver for access to sports scores and schedules. It also lets all iOS device users share content with social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. With the updated app, subscribers can use either the iPhone or iPod Touch (in addition to the iPad) to control the U-Verse TV with a full guide, on-demand, and DVR controls. The application is free to download for AT&T U-Verse customers.
