Verizon Targets April 19 for Next LTE Expansion

Verizon Wireless has announced that a number of new markets will have access to LTE 4G starting April 19. Some of the new markets include Sandusky, Ohio; Dodge City and Hayes, Kan.; Macon, Ga.; Auburn and Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and Cattaraugus-Allegheny, N.Y. In addition to the new markets, Verizon will expand the availability of LTE in existing markets, including Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio; Concord, N.H.; Waltham, Mass.; Wichita, Kan.; St. Louis and southern Missouri; and southern Illinois. Verizon noted that its network covers more than 200 million POPs across 203 markets in the U.S.

Actually, Tuscaloosa was turned on Tuesday night. I think they're still testing, though, as speeds have been a tad slower than I've seen in officially launched markets.
Auburn is on as well, but they are still testing everything.

I stay like 20 minutes from Auburn and can't wait!
LTE is awesome!!! You can watch videos, and it actually plays, WITHOUT buffering!!! Forget 3G!!!
