Twitter Expanding Promoted Tweets on Mobile

Twitter today announced an expansion of its promoted tweets program on mobile devices. Building on the initial test that began several weeks ago, Twitter is offering advertisers more tools to target promoted tweets to mobile users that share similar interests with their existing followers. Twitter is also giving advertisers the option to target their campaigns specifically to devices running OS and Android. Users of Twitter on mobile devices should begin to see more promoted tweets in their timelines.
