Sony today announced the availability of Music Unlimited version 1.3. The new version of Sony's streaming music service adds one important new feature: the ability to cache music on devices so that it can be played back when there's no network connection available. Sony's Music Unlimited version 1.3 for Android is available in 13 countries, including Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, U.K., and the U.S. The free app update is available in the Android Market. The service, however, incurs monthly fees.
