Nokia Discontinuing Ovi Share
Nokia today announced that it plans to shutter its Ovi Share service on May 30, 2012. Users will have until then to download any content stored in Ovi Share. Nokia said that users can download their content in small pieces as well as in one large zip file, depending on their needs. The system will not be accessible after May 30. Nokia said the decision to shut Ovi Share was made so that it could focus on its core services offerings.

An Israeli company that supplies law enforcement agencies worldwide announced that the newest version of its tool to access locked phones can access almost any smartphone, including Apple devices running iOS 7-12.3 and most Android phones. The company, Cellebrite, promises that its new UFED Premium device offers nearly complete access to Apple devices and "flagship Samsung devices", as well as support for accessing the file system on "popular device models from Motorola, Huawei, LG and Xiaomi."

Google today updated Files Go for Android devices and introduced several new features to the file management app. Files Go on Android now supports file search.

Google today announced an update to its peer-to-peer sharing app, File Go, and says the new version is dramatically improved. To start, the sharing tool is easier to find and use because it is called out in a dedicated tab.
