RealNetworks today announced RealOne™ Mobile Media Guide, a portal featuring brand-name streaming audio and video programming for mobile phones and PDAs. Content available through the Guide includes programming from: Capitol Records, CNET Radio Direct, FOXSports.com, iFilm, NPR and Virgin Records. The Guide is available for Series 60 devices, such as the Nokia 3650, as well as Pocket PC devices. Consumers can access the guide by simply adding a bookmark to http://mobile.real.com on their mobile device.

Virgin Mobile USA, which is owned and operated by Sprint, transformed itself today into new provider much more closely aligned with the Virgin brand. Significantly, Virgin Mobile USA is now an iPhone-only carrier, meaning Apple's iPhones are the only phones Virgin will sell moving forward.

Virgin Mobile today announced plans to become an iPhone-only carrier, but the carrier's Android-based handsets won't vanish overnight. Virgin's reseller partners, including Best Buy, Target, and Walmart, will continue to carry and sell Virgin Mobile's lineup of Android handsets along with the prepaid carrier's Data Love service plans, according to Justin Scott, Virgin Mobile's Director of Communications.
