Cingular Expands Corporate Email Options

Cingular today announced new corporate email offerings from rivals Research In Motion (RIM) and Good Technology. The new RIM offerings include GSM/GPRS BlackBerry devices and Xpress Mail with BlackBerry service for GSM/GPRS. RIM also announced plans to offer GSM 850/1900 devices for Cingular's expanding dual-band GSM/GPRS network. Cingular already offers BlackBerry devices for its Mobitex network. Cingular today also announced the availability of Good's G100 device and the GoodInfo™ service, which offers wireless access to web-enabled corporate data sources, via Cingular's Mobitex network.
