Microsoft and AT&T Wireless tomorrow will demonstrate new location-based software, provisionally named Microsoft® Enterprise Location Server, that brings together XML Web services and AT&T Wireless' network to enable location-based services. The software was developed as a part of the strategic alliance formed by the companies in July. The demo application runs on a Pocket PC-based phone and uses the new server software to integrate MapPoint® .NET information with real-time location data from AT&T Wireless.
