Industry Group Sets Phone Guidelines for Americas

3G Americas today announced a set of guidelines for terminals and devices supporting the GSM-based evolution to UMTS in the Americas. The recommendations are made in an informational document, titled 3G Americas Terminal Recommendations, which was published today on the 3G Amercas web site. The document identifies and prioritizes its members' preferences for terminals supporting GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS capabilities.
