for the LG LX-5550 / VX-5550:AHHH scary
I use to LOVE this phone, the speaker phone is loud, the driving mode is awesome to have but where I work we first got those phones in in August 2004 and they were the hottest thing.. but then they all started coming back with issues and here it is in May 2005 and we still have them coming back. for the Kyocera SE47 / SE44 / V5 (Slider):Not a good choice
I sell phones and have sold many Kyocera products and most all come back with signal issues. I never thought a different model phone would have a difference in signal strength but it does. This phone has come back for service many times, to save yourself the time and troubles, don't buy it.

for the Audiovox CDM-8400 / CDM-8410:Has a lot of issues
I sell phones and thank god we don't sell these anymore because they always came back with problems and I hated seeing customer so upset, so if you can do yourself a favor stay away from this phone, a better model to use would be a nokia handheld phone. Nokia is a better brand and they don't have as many issues.

for the Audiovox CDM-8900:Its alright
Having worked in the cell phone industry I have seen far more LG phones come back with issues than this one. Most of the con's on some of the reviews on here are not because of the phone but of the user for example: Changing the banner on this phone is not a "hassle" you go into settings, display, greeting message, and scroll to the entry message. It takes time to warm up to new phones but just because it's hard for ...
