for the Motorola RAZR2 V9m:Thin as a pack of gum, but not quite as tasty
I a proud 4-day owner of a new Motorola Razr2 V9M for Alltel. The interface is very similar to most of Moto's other higher-end phones like the original Razr, E815/816, etc. so the learning curve for this new phone is very small! Thats what I like about Motorola's consistency between models. The clarity of the internal and external screens (which are nearly the same size) is AMAZING. I created wallpapers for my V9M using photos I had taken ...

for the Kyocera SoHo KX1:Good basic phone
As an employee of Alltel, this is the free phone they give us with our employee accounts so this phone was actually not my choice. I have always been skeptical of the Kyocera brand but have been surprised with it for being a "bottom-end" model. It has nice basic features, it supports realtone ringtones, down-loadable wallpapers and games, very functional speaker phone, and good ease of use. for the LG L1400 / C1400:Great phone, very satisfied.
I just received this phone from Cingular yesterday, and I received the phone for free on a 2-day sale. So far I am very satisfied and have had no problems at all. The only two things that keep me from giving it a 5 is the fact that the wallpaper for the external display can only be set to the factory installed wallpapers, custom wallpapers can only be used for the internal display, also the factory installed ringtones ...
