I've had this phone for two weeks. I've downloaded Google Maps and Gmail and both applications work very well! I'm using the Cingular branded model on AT&T's network, with an unlimited data plan. for the Sony Ericsson S710a:Better than I expected!!
I replaced my Motorola V551 with the S710a. I had some initial reservations, because of the swivel design, but after I received the phone and used it for a while, those reservations went away and now I love it. for the Motorola V551 / V330 / V547 / V555 / V557:Best Cingular phone for Cincinnati
I received this phone as a Christmas gift. I've been with Verizon the last two years, though never quite happy with their phone selection. I tried a Sony Ericsson T616 with Cingular, and the reception was horrid. However, with the V551, I have twice as many bars. Yes, Cingular did raise the bar with the V551. When the V710 first debuted earlier this year I ran out to the nearest Verizon store to check it out. I was thoroughly turned off by the build quality and by the flimsiness. for the Samsung SCH-A670:Solid upgrade from A530
I mainly use my mobile phone in Oxford, Ohio (Miami University). Oxford is about 35 miles North of Cincinnati. My service provider is Verizon Wireless (of course!). Service with the A670 is a little better than the A530, and much better than the LG VX4500 (I had it for eight days).
