for the Kyocera Deco E1000:
Now Offered By POCKET!!!
played with the phone over the past week since we are gonna have to start selling them. really has nothing special when compared to other phones, but then again it is an entry-level phone. PROS: -decent battery life -business casual styling -low cost CONS: -exterior shine gets dulled with fingerprints easily -BREW platform is still not supported by POCKET Smart Wireless

for the LG VX-5300 / UX-245 / AX-245:
POCKET Lg Ax-245
Maybe the information is off, but we at POCKET sell the ax-245 and it is a 1.3 Mp camera. Anyways, this is another of our top selling phones and I have to say for the price it really is a good deal. PROS: -Simple design structure -Good sized screens -Excellent reception -Very good battery life -Bluetooth pairs easily enough (plantronics headsets are what we sell, so thats all i've paired them with) CONS: -stubby antenna is irritating in pocket -POCKET doesn't support BREW -Needs to be a little ...

for the Motorola W385:
Another imitation
I'm a moto fan, but i've never been a fan of flip phones. I got this phone after V3a, and considering what I already went thru with the V3a, I kinda expected the same on this phone. But I must say that personally I think this was better than V3a. PROS: -thin phone -nice styling -lightweight -lower price -forget texting, buttons are too close CONS: -vga camera -no mp3s -no memory card slot -looks like an imitation Basically, this is for people who want a krzr, but can't afford ...

for the Motorola RAZR V3a / V3s:
What happened here?
I'm a moto fan, but i've never been a fan of flip phones. I had V3m for a while before I got my slvr and it was ok. My girlfriend wanted a razr and I wanted to see what the fuss was all about, so I got her V3a..... then returned it next day. PROS: -thin phone -nice styling -lightweight -lower price CONS: -vga camera -no mp3s -no memory card slot -looks like an imitation Basically, this is for people who want a razr, but can't afford ...

for the Kyocera K342:
Offered By POCKET Smart Wireless
This is the mainstay of POCKET Smart Wireless. For the price you get a good quality phone that has the features that most more expensive phones have. It seems that only POCKET Smart Wireless (here in san antonio and rio grande valley) carries this phone, though I could be wrong. PROS: -Low Priced -1.3 Mp camera -15 second video clips -Bluetooth compatible -Small clamshell -Colored external display -Phonebook capacity 6 phone#'s 2 e-mail 2 websites address and notes -hold call feature allows for 2nd caller to ...

for the Kyocera Slider Remix KX5 / Slider Sonic:
Was This A Joke?
POCKET carried this phone for like 2 weeks and for the price, it seemed like a good deal.... Until the following month. PROS: -Mp3 player -Bundle kit came with lots of accesories -external memory card slot -came with mobile phone tools CONS: -send and end buttons went out quick -bad battery life -screens went out after a month or so -pics were blurry Just not a good phone. Come on Kyocera, you can do better.

for the Kyocera Marbl / K132 / Velvet:
BASIC
This phone was not meant for most mobile users. As a retail sales rep., I find that this phone is targeted more for the very basic of phone users. PROS: -slim -rugged exterior -durable (most K132's I sell are to costruction workers and they swear this phone can handle being in cunstrution atmosphere) -Cheap CONS: -SLOW this phone is slow in every aspect -ugly

for the Kyocera Strobe K612 / SwitchBack:
Sounds like there were some bad ones
I had a strobe thru POCKET, and I haven't had any of the problems that I have been reading about. As a matter of fact, my brother now has my old strobe and he hasn't had any problems either. PROS: -very durable, i dropped mine many times -extensive phone book -loud ringers CONS: -ergonomic styling (good idea, badly done) -small keypad -needed better camera -POCKET doesn't support BREW

for the Kyocera Wild Card / Lingo / M1000:
Available Thru POCKET
I'm not a major texting guy, (only about 200 messages a month) so a full qwerty keyboard is not a must. But I do like how this phone was put together. PROS: -qwerty keyboard -better camera than strobe had -loud speakers -flashlight (helps a lil when fumbling in the dark) -bluetooth paired easily -back cover is actually secure CONS: -a little thick for my taste -inner screen too small to actually do much browsing -keypads are both a lil on small side

for the Motorola ROKR Z6m:
Now At POCKET
This phone is actually a good phone. It does what it is made to do, and it does it quite well. PROS: slim form factor loud Mp3 player loud ringtones keylock on side up to 2GB memory card external memory card slot (finally) 2.0 Mp camera screen is just slightly smaller than my SLVR better wallpapers than usual light, I have forgotten this phone in my jean pocket many times because my wallet is heavier than the phone CONS: smudges real easily POCKET still doesn't support BREW

Mar 12, 2008, 10:01 AM
for the Motorola KRZR K1m:
KRZR with POCKET
Not a bad phone, lots of features. Only reason why I can't give this phone a 5 is because POCKET smart wireless does not support BREW. PROS: Big Display Mp3 player rocks Easy music navigation Loud Slim Form CONS: POCKET doesn't support BREW Memory card under battery Battery cover can be a hassle to remove

for the Motorola v120e:
Durable Phone
i had this phone for 3 months while i was working construction, and no matter how many times it was dropped, bumped, etc... it still worked fine. (too bad i couldn't hack the bumps and drops) PROS: Durability easy keyboard lock CONS: really not customizeable

Mar 5, 2008, 1:08 PM
for the Motorola C650:
Great First Phone
This was the first phone that I ever bought and I have to say it was an excellent phone. PROS: bar-style phone, simple user interface CONS: battery life was a little short for my taste camera was a little blurry at times

Mar 5, 2008, 12:57 PM
for the Motorola RAZR V3c:
Good Flip Phone
I really am not a flip phone person. But I do own one that I used for a while. Service was originally T-Mobile then unlocked so I could use AT&T. PROS: large display decent camera key configuration was good speaker was actually quite loud good ringers CONS: as with most flip phones, hinge was a little weak speakerphone was loud (pro), but seemed to sound a little scratchy Personally, this would be a good backup phone for me, but i prefer bar style phones

Mar 5, 2008, 12:48 PM
for the Motorola SLVR L7c:
What Is everyone complaining about?
Ok, I have waited for 6 months of owning this phone before deciding to write a review on this. First the basics: Carrier: Pocket Smart Wireless Length Of Ownership: 6 Months Overall Rating: 4.5 Warning I Am A GEEK So I Have Done A Little More Than What Most Consumers Would Do With This Phone. PROS: Good Battery Life- Average talker only have to recharge twice a week Big Screen- Not that it was a feature I was looking for, but it is helpful Good Volume Mp3 ...
