for the Samsung Sidekick 4G:
Sidekick 4g initial experience
Bought 2 SK4's yesterday, upgrading one Moto Cliq and adding me (hated to let my SERO plan go but life goes on). Initial setup was pretty easy except for a bit of difficulty finding where PoP email setup is done. The phone seems pretty well built, is quick (consistently stays on TMo's 4g here in Manassas). Pros: Fun to use, like previous SK's but Android is a better OS choice I must admit. Nice assortment of applications available - I am going ...

for the Motorola Cliq:
New Motorola Cliq First Impressions
Traded a Sidekick LX 2009 for the Cliq. After about 4 days, so far so good. Also, cudos to Tmobile for a smooth transfer of a former Verizon number to the new phone. Pros: Super looking phone and the hardware appears to have a solid build quality. Quick and responsive for web and email. Great keyboard - a real feature. Bright and easily readable screen. Lots of interesting and useful applications (but see Con below). Great speaker phone - can actually hear the thing. Better as ...

Coming from a older Verizon Moto v710 and a TMobile Sidekick, I find the Moto Q has lots of features that I like. Some Pros include: Ease of use and a real keypad instead of a touch screen or a slide out keypad that, while usually larger, is not as convenient ...

for the Sharp Sidekick LX 2007:
Sidekick LX is a step up
I just got the SK LX last week and after getting familiar with it have to say that as a communication device (text and email anyway) it is unbeatable. As a phone, it is acceptable but unsafe. Pros: Outstanding screen - one of the best if not the best I've seen. Ease of use and very easy to set up PoP email accounts. Very straightforward IM and Texting ability. Smart looking, thin, and appears to be pretty solid. TMobile Customer Service and ordering process ...
