for the Sony Ericsson W580 / S500:Poor Call Qaulity
Everything on this phone was close to perfect. Great price, excellent music player, looks, felt solid, fantastic user interface. Even the camera was pretty decent. But the call quality was horrible. Everyone always sounded muffled. It became very hard to make out what people were saying unless i was in a very quiet area. The speaker phone was no better. I have a sony w300i and the call quality on that phone ...

for the Motorola KRZR K1:Several Issues
I wanted to like the phone, but it just kept freezing on me ever other day or so. Pretty frustrating. Perhaps I got a 'defective' phone. I was also very dissapointed in the user interface (both slow and outdated). (att branded krzr) Pros build quality looks sound qaulity was decent decent battery life Cons Freezing up randomly finger print magnet Low feature set for the price very outdated and slow user interface Dispite my complaints I'ld probably given this phone a 4 if id didn't freeze on ...

for the Sony Ericsson W300 / Z530:Excellent Reception + Battery Life
I've had this phone for about 2 weeks (cingular dc/balt). This is the only phone i've ever had that works everywhere. No dropped calls at all. The battery life initially started weak, but now after a few charges seems to last forever (about 5 days with decent usage still had 35%). Decent speakerphone. Do wish the a missed call message would stay on the outside display untill you cleared it -instead a clock screensaver pops ...

for the Motorola v60i (GSM) / v60gi:Good Sound Qaulity/Bad Reception
The actual sound quality on this phone is fantastic. Best I've heard. But it has trouble finding reception and with dropped calls (I'm in the dc/balt area). Also ear pieces sound awful (i tried a couple brands). Pros - sound quality/volume cons - poor ear piece sound quality and spotty reception.
