well look forward to price increases. Manufacturing a phone for cdma and gsm networks costs more then just manufacturing the phone for one network. plus branding the phones for each carrier, the carrier software, ect ect..

Though there seems to be no reason to panic , i garuntee this is just another nail in the coffin for competition and exclusive features and phones fopr carriers. as i warned this will increase prices if and when this happens. Government needs to back off and let the companies do what they have been doing....oh and Nokia wins.

This is a waste of money and time. the RCA and these senators are just whining because they want an Iphone on someone elses network, they have not thought of the bigger picture. such as cost, if a cell phone maker has to make a phone compatible for all carriers, then costs will go up. do you all really want to spend even more money on phones? and we're not talking a small price hike, making a phone ...

how is that against competition? If a competitor really wants in that mall they can pay more and get in or locate themselves some place else. alls fair in business. the senate is trying to ruin business's with this bullshit. they are just pissed becuase they can't get the phone they want it has nothing to do with sutumor choice.

The E72 and 5530 look like two more hitters from Nokia and i can't wait to get my hands on them. Lets face it Verizon won't be getting these guys, so it'll be either ATT or T-mobile if they deside to brand them. Though i prefer them unlocked anyways. Can't wait, Nokia just made my monday.

went to my local Verizon store to check out the new Nokia 7205 and for a new acctivation they are charging 189.99 what a rip off. Its a nice phone and all but they also had the 6205 for 109.99 and i know online at Verizon.com its free with a new act. wtf verizon.

Creative, in hard times
as we all know i'm a huge Nokia Fan. and this article just proves that they are number 1 not just in what they make but how they run their company. as alot of companies fire, and force ealry retirement onto itsd people, Nokia has taken a creative high road. that other companies should use as well. This is by far the best solution i;ve seen a company come up with in these down times. Kudos to you Nokia.
