My understanding is that you had to purchase the phone from the site so that they could ascertain that you did indeed purchase a replacement phone. However, I just found out from re-reading the instructions that I only had til 6/13/2006 to do just that. So check you due date and let me know if it's the same as mine (6/13/06). If your's is later than that, maybe I still have a chance.

I was waiting to get some money together so that I can purchase a replacement phone for my v710. I did not know I only had until June 13, 2006 to send back my v710 to Verizon. Does anyone know if verizon is sticking to this deadline? I couldn't log on to again to http://www.vzwshop.com/motorolav710 I did at first and saw the telephone I wanted but couldn't afford it at the time. Thanks Sal
