Dropped Calls

After the many dropped calls that I have had on a daily basis with this phone, I have decided to go ahead and exchange it for a different phone. They are offering to replace it with the LG Trax or the Motorola V3XX, supposedly because those are the only two phones that fall under the "Best" category like the Sync. Can anyone out there tell me which is the better phone out of the two? Or if they is ...

I found what the problem was. You can select this option when you have the music playing on the screen. Under "Options", select 9. Player Setting, scroll down until you see "Minimize Player" and select "Yes". This took care of my little problem. How does AT&T and Samsung not know about this??

The Sync I had, had the AT&T brand on it. Thats one of the features I liked on the phone and now this replacement phone doesn't have this feature. Its very dissapointing. :(

I had to return my old Sync because I was having problems with it. When I selected the music player, I was able to select one of my playlists, start the music, and then press the "back" button to get back to the main screen, while my music was playing. The music ID showed on my main screen. On my replacement phone, I am unable to do that. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? ...

Quick question. When you send a text message and it asks you to select which number to send to, is there a way to delete the list of numbers that is already on there?

Once you log in to messenger using the right side key, is there a way to leave the "sign on" id blank instead of having the id used the first time as the default name? Instead of showing my id, I would like it to be blank.

Yeah, I figured that Cingular won't insure the phone. Is programming the phone hard? Is it worth buying an unlocked phone?

I looked at the SLVR, but it doesn't appeal to me. I am looking for something stylish. What about the Sony Ericsson W600i? Or are there any new phones in the near future that I should hold for?

I'm in the market for a new cell. Don't want to sign a new contract, so I'm willing to pay the retail price for a phone. Any suggestions as far as which are the better phones that are out there? Or are better ones coming out later on? I'm looking at a phone with camera/video and possibly ptt.
