yeah, your right there is still no annoucement if it will be available through us but if it got a 1900 mhz. It will work not as good though but i used to have a p900i (asia version) not that good on reception but it will do. It works when i need it. I think sony will make a us version like its predecessor

It looks like the Blackberry functions in a Windows based so it is better by far compare to Blackberry BUT is it better than the Sony Ericsson P990i?
P990i comes with:
- Pen recognition (also has scroll on the side)
- Touch Screen
- 2 Mega Pixel Camera
only down side is, it's a Symbian Software where most consumer are familiar with Windows.
and Oh yeah, the price P990i is much more
