You rock!!! I knew there had to be a way. The Verizon rep said it couldnt be done.
This 4650 is a great phone, but it does not like to switch to analog very much - like near never.
Now I can use my phone AND walk around at the same time. SWEET!!!

I moved and now have marginal signal at home. I drop calls constantly, signal goes from full to zero with no movement. It is very frustrating. :evil:
SO, can I set it to analog? My old LG I could I cant figure out how on this one.
Is there a better digital phone? What has the BEST reception on Verizon?

The third phone is working good. I am hooked on speaker phone. That is the best feature - especially combined with voice activation!!!
I am getting just shy of 3 hours of talk time per charge. Not too bad.

I just read a review that stated that the speaker phone will consume batter juice faster than normal mode.

I have talked 1.5 hours on a full charge and the battery in 1/2 gone. Is that about normal? That is my only concern at this point. Everything else is running smooth.

update - the outer display went solid black after a call this afternnon. I exchanged it for a third 4650. I like the phone, but this will be the last one. If thisone malfunctions - I trying a different phone.

I dont think I said that right. its not the back light. the LCD went full BLACK. like very pixel was on. no to be confuded with the backlight. the clock and status was not visible what so ever.

Need Tri Mode phone 6100 or 4650???
I have been reading reviews for a while and I am down to these 2 models, LG6100 or LG4650.
Must have tri mode and I want to use the phone to make and receive calls (call me crazy). Reception and call quality is primary. Camera and other fluff if not of concern.
What do you think?
