While I would not switch from the S4 to the Note 3, unless you need the updated capability (screen size, hardware, S Pen, etc), I would like to add a thought to the "wait and see" approach.
The idea that if you wait something better will come along is flawed when it comes to Samsung.
With the Apple iPhone or other iMobile devices, Apple rolls out small-step updates and upgrades: iPhone 3, 3G, 3GS, 4, 4S, 5, 5S, 5C or iPad ...
