Ringtones for your phones, NOT EASY.
Ok, unless you subscribe to Cricket Clicks! which is only available in certain areas, you CAN'T send a ringtone to your phone. Cricket does not support any data transmission either to or from your phone.
If your phone is polyphonic ringtone compatibile, you can buy a data cable on ebay, get certain free softwares, and upload midi files to your phone to use as ringtones.

I have developed a beta version of an application to work around the fact that Cricket does not offer email to text capability. When I say email to text I mean that somebody could send an email to your phone from any email software (even webmail), though obviously still limited to the 148 character txt message limit. Your phone will receive the email as a text message.

You guys are all wrong. Cricket DOES NOT SUPPORT EMAIL TO TEXT OR TEXT TO EMAIL. I have contacted them numerous times.
I, however, have written an application that works around the fact that cricket does not support it.
If you want to be part of my beta version testing, get in touch. This will allow you to receive emails on your phone as text messages.
There is currently no known way to send an email from your cricket phone.
