Lifeboat not need there, Sprint is smart enough to let Clear die on its own and then buy up the hardware at liquidation for reuse as firmware updated LTE hardware.
Clear may go under but Sprint's going nowhere.
As long as we keep talking LTE to Clear...then YES.
...if we decide to run both Wimax and LTE, say Wimax for embedded devices, and LTE for phones then I'm all for it.
Wimax is not on vendors priority list anymroe to manufacture for, considering all the carriers in the US and most of the carriers abroad are deplying LTE.
Ergo, leave the Wimax to the laptops and stuff, get LTE up for phones.
Staying with Wimax now not only hurts us, but continues to hurt us, and when Clearwire goes under ...

Fix stuff? If by fix stuff you mean you are a TSR in a Full Service store then you, and I, will be out on our butts looking for a job.
As an ex-Tmobile employee, and a current Sprint Technician, IF they decide to merge, dump CDMA, and go GSM, there are no need for techs, period. The whole Service & Repair dept will cease to exist. Ask your SRSS.
