I would have to agree with phoneman get an update. I have not had any such problem in the ten days of owning a 9700. Os version 5.0.0.330, On tmobile hand set. Everything has worked properly. Have downloaded an ran 10 plus apps from bb app world. Also runs opera mini no problem. Great phone and wow fast over wifi.
