How useful
just another app that lets girls laugh at any nerd-turned-hipster-turned-skater white guy(the white adds nothing to the statement, but its just a unfounded stereotype)
Re: sd slot?
Correction: when talking about the physical keys, I was wrong, they are on the 710 for T-Mobile, sorry about that.

The folks at engadet tells us that there is NO expandable memory, and at 4GB it only allows about 2.2GB of user storage(perhaps for docs and such)
The video review demonstrates how the OS keys at the bottom of the device are actually physical keys and not capacitive, I suspect this being the case since its targeted to those who are new to the smartphone world; in a sense that they may press the capacitive keys by ...
Price?
I can see this device being sold as "free" with a possibly $5.00 or $10.00 air time(most likely under the payg $0.10 simple plan) included in the packaging.
Whether you pay for the air time and get the phone for free or vice versa, that would seem like a very attractive deal to me. And as I've read before on some of these posts a security measure will make this straight-to-the-point handset a must for those that cannot record videos, ...
Re: very cool
I know that many people use their Windows Phone devices on a data-package basis. But I was playing with a secondary H2O Wireless account where it charges as PPU (pay-per-use) on $0.30 per MB. Using a Samsung Focus(Mango) I was able to notice what seemed to be "random" packets of data being used with no apparent pattern. It consumed data 5 to 6 times on average per minute, with some instances where the charge was anywhere from $0.02 all ...
Re: NICE! ??
By the looks of this device, it resembles too much of the i465 from boost mobile which is an awful device. Perhaps the browsing speed will be somewhat better due to the GPRS/EDGE radios and possibly WCDMA but regardless of how 'great' this device can be it will never compare to an android phone.
Samsung Craft
Judging by the review performed by our good man Philip Berne, it seems that metroPCS wants the bragging rights of being the nation's first LTE carrier at any cost. As mentioned on the review, the Craft is just feature phone (and a poor one too). I seriously believe that the folks at metro simply want to sell a phone under the 4G "brand you want to call it that) just to bring more costumers to their network without having ...
Re: Here's what happens if you fill out the "Dealer Signup"
After what I've seen about Buzzirk Wireless/Zer01 Mobile I figured I'd spend some time
in trying to find about any real information about this company.
As of now (if you have read all the comments) we know that "My Simple Mobile" or Simple
Mobile LLC uses t-mobile's GSM coverage since both coverage maps are 'simply' the same, and yes, their voicemail platform number (805-MESSAGE) is owned by T-mobile.
Doing a search for any corporations in the state of California, no listing was found ...
Not a smartphone.... By Far!
The handset looks very nice, its UI is very responsive and the feedback when touched is as if you were using a high-end model.
Its bluetooth transfer is MEGA fast. I was able to transfer Images(jpeg, gif, bmp) and they worked fine. But if you transfer any file whose resolution is over 1.3 megapixel it wont be displayed well; blurry, and distorded. There is no zoom nor panning features. You can move thru pics on a iphone-like way. It also plays mp3s, ...
