Time to DITCH PALM!!!
I am totally disgusted with Palm and their tech support, anytime you try call them, they KNOW NOTHING about their phones.
I am getting ready to upgrade to a Blackberry Tour looks alot better and seems like Blachberry cares more about their customers than Palm does.
Windows Mobile 6.5 has been out for a few months now and Palm doesn't seem to care about upgrading the problem with the PalmTreoPro and Windows Mobile 6.1.
So I am guessing it is BUH BYE ...

Yeah well Palm told me the phone is supposed todo that, I really love to have a phone ringing in my ear while I am talking on it.
Kinda forced me to buy a headset, something I have never been big on. But the new headsets they got out now work awesum.

hit the send button then dial your number then hit send again and you will connect that way. Or call PALM and ask them, but fair warning you may get hung-up on a few times, and they still not be able to tell you how todo it. I have noticed Palm's support sucks, they don't even know anything about their own products.
If I didn't like the phone so much, I'd switch and goto a Blackberry.

Well AllSmel doesn't install any of their own software like Verizon does. Every Phone you buy from Verizon has their own GUI even. Verizon screws up phones with their software.

Try e-bay, I've seen them for about $270.00 but you know there really isn't any retail store that is gonna offer the phone cheeper than what Sprint is selling it for. Just suck it up and buy it from Sprint atleast you got their full service if ya have problems. I dunno if you get it else where if you will be able to insure the phone.

You want an EVERYTHING DATA Plan. That give you unlimited Data and text. It comes with either 450 or 900 Anytime minutes. or you can choose the Simply Everything Plan that carries unlimited EVERYTHING>

I am thinking there isn't a chance, but you never know with Verizon. Verizon likes to use it's own software on their phones. Their software forces you to use their services, not anything else.

CDMA is the Technology of towers that is operates one, it is newer than GSM what AT&T and T-Mobile work on. With GSM Phones they have SIM cards, CDMA don't use SIM Cards.
You don't need a smart plan for the phone but to use some features of the phone you will be charged extra for use of DATA time.
Phone Ringing during call.
Anyone else upset where the phone rings normal while during a call when you receive a SMS or MMS message?
Palm today decided to give me a line that all phones ring like that when you get a text while on a call.
I really don't like the idea how while I am talking on the phone to someone and I get blasted in the ear with ring tone when I receive a text message.
They tell me that is all OK. ...

People have complain low bars on the phone, but other phone has a full strenght. I am at home and I got like zero to two bars all the time when my old phones 800w and Razr had full strength.
I ain't complaining that much though, I haven't had a problem getting call at home just scares me the reception on the phone is so low.

I talked to Sprint Advance tech support tonight and informed them of a problem with were low reception on my Treo Pro tonight and the told me they have alot of complaints about it, and Palm and Microsoft are working on a fix for this issue, and should have an update coming out for it soon.

I hafta agree I HATED the PalmTreo800w, it sucked in every aspect. I swore when I carried it around I was carrying a BRINK and I mean that literally was always freezing up could never hear it ring. Yesterday I switched to the PalmTreoPro, and LOVE IT awesome phone, and picture mail is better than even on a regular cell phone.
SPRINT FINALLY DID SOMETHING RIGHT!!!

Just got the PalmTreoPro
:D Great phone so far, traded my PalmTreo800w in today for it, Very nice phone, PICTURE MAIL just like a regular cellphone no App needed. Lots to learn, but thought I would give a little info on the phone, being at this time there is NO WHERE to find out anything on this phone, not Even Sprint Tech or sales can tell you anything on the phone.
