I know about the 450.00 price and I did check with sprint and the only way a individual can keep his yearly update is be a customer for 10+ years or go to the $89.00 plan, which in a years time is going to cost me $240.00 more, their is the cost of the savings you would get off the upgrade phone price. Sprint is not loosing anything on a deal like that, you are paying Sprint in advance ...

Is there anyway to get this new phone when it comes out. I am due for a upgrade now on my HTC Hero, but as of April 1st, I loose my upgrade status for anyother year. For people that got the Evo 4g last June, that means they won't qualify for a new phone until June of 2012. Re: screen auto lock
Go into main screen touch settings, touch display, change backlight information to DIM: Never Dim and BACKLIGHT: to Lock Key Only and the backlight will stay on until you touch the lock key on the top of the phone. :roll:
I Got My Instinct today
I picked up my instinct today at the local sprint store, thank's to an e-mail from Sprint that let people buy and preview the phone a day early. It's a great phone. If you want this phone be sure your in line first thing in the morning as several stores around the country had sold out of the instinct by early afternoon. One store had 9 people waiting this morning when the store opened. Good luck to everyone ...

Sprint and Verizon BlackBerry Curve Now Delayed to May 15th
www.phonenews.com is now reporting Sprint and Verizon have begun circulating internal memos stating that the launch of the respective versions of the BlackBerry Curve have been pushed back due to software issues. The problem has been pinpointed to a bug in the firmware that causes the device to freeze and lock up after using data-intensive applications after only seven minutes of use. :roll:
