Decent

Mar 11, 2004 by majestik

A long time Kyocera user, I picked up this phone due to Verizon recent lack of a modern Kyo. Features are all good, but I was disappointed by the lack of audio range on the speakerphone. Anything more than foot or two and people can't hear me. Address book is bulky, but that's offset by the speed and voice dialing features. Yes, the Verizon logo on the external display is annoying, but I can live with it. The 'indiglo' feature on the external display is helpful too. The intro and exit screens are changeable, as well as the military/ standard clock features that others complain about.
My one major con though is that the main display is awfully hard to read in direct sunlight - it's like looking through a tinted window, you almost need to cup your hand over it to be able to read it. Overall - a worthwhile phone.

worst phone

All the complaints about this phone listed are valid. I am already on my second (since I also bought my wife one) and can't wait to get rid of it. As you use them over a period of time the wear and tear is rapid including problems with the display. It begins to disappear occasional until it just never reappears. On my first, Verizon claimed the screen problem to be water damage, although my phone was never remotely near water. This phone is best for somebody that doesn't intend on using it very much.
Pros: nice small size...thats it.
Cons: Flashes 'Verizon Wireless' for 5 seconds between the date and time
Phone book takes forever to look somebody up
Weak reception with many dropped calls.
Once the display starts to go you might as well throw it out (smash it first so somebody else doesn't find it and use it). I just bought a new Nokia on ebay for $50. I can't wait to get it.

Look at all the negative reviews from people, They tell it as it is. This phone is small and attractive and thats where the positive ends. The phone has software problems, dialing the phone is a hassle press send and then realize you've only hit 2 digits out of 7. i could go on and on but I see a lot of people crying about ringtones and Verizon labels on the screen , that is not audiovox Verizon Does this because they want you to buy there downloads and games. Verizon is a money hungry machine, FEED THE MACHINE!!!

Good Little Phone

I have used this phone for about 6 months now and I seem to jump phone to phone to try and see which one that I REALLY want to use well I found it! Its a great phone yeah its phone book is kinda hard to use and the book is a waste of paper I will give you that one. But really for the size of the phone its really clear. This phone is one of the best out there so far that I have seen I would say that everyone could use it.
