Can a 2366i prepaid be used on regular VZW plan?

If I buy this phone as a "pre-paid" (INpulse) (Walmart had them for cheap - $50), can it be used on a regular VZW plan? Or is it somehow locked to be used only as a pre-paid phone?

cheers

i was reading somewhere that da phone had 2 be activated 4 six months on a prepaid account b4 u could activate it on a monthly account. but i doubt that. u should buy it and call verizon and try 2 activate it. if they wont let u activate it, take the charger out of the box and return the phone back to wal-mart and tell them that the phone didn't come with a charger

Hey there! I just purchased this phone on ebay. It is really old, lol. It seems like the previous owner bought it at walmart, and that yes, it was an INpulse phone. She had it activated for a while, and I was able to activate it on my basic contract plan with Verizon - very surprised!
