Java on 6600 (Sprint)

I have a remote security camera application that requires either:

1) Java Applets to run on the Pocket PC (this runs in Jpeg mode)
*or*
2) Supports ActiveX control and will allow unsigned ActiveX controls to be downloaded to the PocketPC. (this runs in MPEG4 mode)

The application allows me to access my cameras at home (home security). It runs fine on laptops and desktops from work but I can't get the 6600 to work. My 6600 is the cell phone combo PocketPC.

I looked at Netfront 3.1 but it says its not Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition compatible.
