I am new to using pocket pc. Please can somebody help.
When I start an application e.g. mediaplayer and then I click close (the x) it keeps running in the background.
Which is the quickest way
How do I see running apps
How do I switch to running apps
How do I close running apps
When I connect to the internet and have the two arrows pointing left and right when I close it stays online even when I switch off! Why and how do I get it to sign offline?

Go to START
Go to SETTINGS
Go to SYSTEM tab
Go to MEMORY
Go to RUNNING PROGRAMS tab
There you can stop any of the programs that are running.

Programs don't run in the same since that they do on a desktop. The only thing that you have to remember is that when you exit out of a program like mediaplayer be sure to stop whatever the program was doing. In your case. If your playing a music or video file in media player, be sure to hit stop before you hit the x or it will continue playing. Microsoft added this feature to allow you to multitask. (example: listen to music and surf the web at the same time)
