Q on headphone Jack and battery life

I am really seriously thinking of getting this phone but I would like to know if you can plug in a standard headphones in the phone and listen to MP3 in stereo ? I know I won't be able to make a call like this but I travel a lot and having the option on the plane to use this as a mp3 player would be really nice. especially if I can use my Bose noise cancelling headphones ?
Next Q is what is battery life really like ?

The headphone that comes standard with the phone is a stereo headset with mic, so you can listen in stereo. Also has in-line volume control. Don't know about the Bose, but they should work.
Battery life depends on how you use it. With the LARGE display if you use it very much it will take 2-3 charges a day, also dependent on whether you use the phone a lot AND if you are using constant sync with mail.
