Is the 6600 capable of accessing a VPN?

Yes, easily. It's part of Windows Mobile 2003. What's cooler is connecting via Terminal Services over an EVDO connection into your personal computer over VPN. How awesome is that?!

I was able to connect using TS the first time i used it but that was the only time. Now my connection times out every time i try to connect. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

check with your sys admin. he may not have/or you may not have the [security] protocals or login [processes] configured for you...in a few words or less.

Know where I can get some documentation re the VPN client, like settings that aren't immediatly obvious, and logs to debug connectivity problems?

Documentation? Well all that good old MS-CHAP, EAP, MS-CHAP v2, or EAP-TLS is in your MS Windows 2K,XP or maybe 9X Help documentation. But the good news is (again) that your sys admin is the one who sets up all that [mess] and you jsut need to get with her/him to figure out what protocols/certs/licenseing/etc.. you need to use.
