Please give your opinions about the PPC-6601 PDA phone. If you want you can also email me your responses.

I'm a business student at San Jacinto College in Houston, TX. I have a formal report due (draft) Sunday, November 28. Also, I must use primary research and the Internet does not count as primary research; however, a forum, which I started the thread does count as primary research.

I'm comparing the Samsung i600, Treo 650, and PPC 6601.
I am using the following criteria in my comparison: price, weight/size, battery life, screen size, ringer options, and extras included.

Thank you!

I dont have the phone but I have experience in selling ones like it-- main decision makers should be in this order--
1: do you want a palm or windows based phone?
2: its big-- phones are not supposed to be big
or atleast you wont be used to it, is
that ok with you?
try it before you buy it.

I think this phone will steal a lot of attention. Simply because of the sliding keyboard which keeps the unit sleek and the windows capability Some people I know have been a little upset because the xv6600 will not have camera functionality on it. My thought to that is; id rather have ipod/music capabilities rather than a VGA camera which makes the $50 - $100 more and you can get a VGA camera for about $20 bucks.

The other issue is that when you have a camera on the phone it make it hard to use and take a phone to any government building, Trust me not worth it, I would rather have a phone that works well then a stupid camera
