What's up with this phone?

I was browsing and i am a huuuge fan of the v60 series and a loyal verizon customer (no problems with either yet). I currently own a v710 that I bought for its reception which is AMAZING. Two questions: 1. why does this phone have such poor battery life? My v60's battery never crapped out and according to phonescoop, the orignial v60 has something like 4 times more standby time. 2. I have searched this site (as well as many others) and couldn't find a non-ptt version of this phone. This may be a stupid question, but do you guys think Verizon will ever get a phone that is not bluetooth crippled? I love BT but it's useless on my v710. It isn't detrimental to my phone's functionability, but I still think it's a cool feature. Thanks to anyone wh...

1. The poor battery life has to do w/PTT since the phone has to ping Verizon for updates on PTT contacts. Most likely the battery life will improve before the launch of it.

2. Short answer would be NO. The long would be that BREW is not open source, and therefore file sharing would be illegal. To correct this they would either have to move from BREW to JAVA, or design a security feature to the files on the phone that would only work on that phone or phone number.
