Considering the "deadness" of this forum, one would think nobody has the device anymore. 
One will also not buy a 9550 after 10/10/10. Thats it...kaput date! This is confirmed by VZW spreadsheet sources!
Verizon is flying the Android flag and has no replacement for the Storm2. RIM has not totally scrapped Sure Press, and a Storm3 might follow in April with a new OS and an LTE platform. Funny thing though. The 9550 is not that bad. The way I have it equipped, I'd rather have a device that I know, performs well, and does not require starting all over again from point A with the next generation planned to become obsolete in short order dumb (smart) phone. Who the hell has the time for this nonsense anyway?.....
