Motorola RAZR V3

Just noticed that the v3 was featured at the very beginning of the new Gwen Stafin video "What You Waiting For." Just thought you guys would like to know.

If you go to www.my.motorola.com, and log-in. Click on phones, and then preview. Click on either the V3 or the V551, and their is Cingular branded literature there. Our dummy phones should be in soon for both.

I am here in South Florida, and me being very sneaky. I peaked on the Cingular Price sheet at a corporate store in Pembroke Pines. Specifically at the Pembroke Lakes Mall. I also confirmed the price with the manager. According to her, phone will be released probably sometime november and the prices as from the price sheet

Motorola V3
2 year contract agreement: $529.99
1 year contract agreement: $579.99
No contract: 629.99

Alot different then the prices quoted for $450. About a 200 difference. As for the packaging, no one knows. Maybe since this is Motorola's flagship phone for this year, and Cingular will be charging high amounts it will come in the metal presentation box and even include the Motoro...

The Official hellomoto.com RAZR site has been updated. It really doesn't say anything new about the phone, just more pictures that showcase the truly incredible industrial design of this phone.

Hey guys,

Anyone know how to delete a GPRS profile? I have both Cingular and T-Mobile service and sometimes swap out sim cards to use either.

My problem is that I have all the available spaces for profiles filled! The phone came with only one empty slot and I plugged Cingular in there but now have no room for a T-Mobile slot.

Any ideas/experience?

Nothing wrong with this phone. I go through about 20 in one year and I have just tried this one and am now trying the MPX 220. Will be using sale$$ of the V3 toward something new 😉

I dunno if anybody has already brought this up so please don't flame me, but if u go under the games section on the cingular website, and look under motorola phones on the compatiblity list, the V3 is listed and it show's the picture and games available for it, that proves cingular is gettin it and it seems like they will have it soon. O and I'm talkin about the Media website it take's u to when u click on the games, not cingular's compatible list.

I was just wondering if anyone knew if cingular was going to offer fast forward on this phone. Only reason why I ask is that it would not be able to fit in a cradle like the other motorola phones.

I recently stumbled upon celluloco.com's explanation of why you should only buy an OEM factory unlocked phone as opposed to buying a phone from your local ATT store and then having it unlocked. The site claims that these phones are never truly unlocked, and they will not really work outside of your original service provider. The link is below:

Got it last week and activated it with Fido (Canada)Absolutely love it.Just wish the camera resolution is a bit higher.For the Christmas season, most new ones high end will be 1.3 megapixel but no matter got it dirtcheap UNLOCKED.

Excellent review you posted on User Reviews. I couldn't have said it any better myself. I wanted to write something like what you wrote responding to people crying about the price, but, didn't have the time due to my travel commitments. The Porsche & Sterling Silver analogy was dead center!!!

I currently use Cingular when in the US and I have a V600. I have read here from other posters (Cingular employees) that they expect the V3 to sell for $499 with a contract. My question is, what would I have to pay for a V3 when I have an existing 2 year contract?

does anybody's speakerphone work with the flip closed? Mine is the asian version and doesn't work with the flip closed while talking, hangs up on the other line.
