Numeric Entry on Websites

Has anyone else noticed that when surfing the NET that numeric mode is not available on fields. ie must use slow multi-tap in the numbers in a zip code field. Is there a workaround or a phone setting that addresses this limitation?

File Synch?

I have been using my MPX220 for a couple weeks now, and I can't figure out how to synch files with Activesynch (3.7.1). I've used Activesynch with my PPC and had no problems. Now the 'files' doesn't even show up under 'options'. Any help?

Syncing mail?

I currently retrieve my school e-mail using Outlook Express on my desktop. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use Outlook on the phone to do the same (i.e. aol e-mail address)? I was confused from reading other posts as to whether this requires the purchase of additional software. Thanks~ 😳

Caller ID fixed?

Im debating whether to get this phone, the V3 (which will most likely end up to be too much) or an ipod for chrismas, but I want to know if the caller id problem has been fied (where it takes like 2 or 3 rings for it to identify). Has it been fixed with the new firmware upgrade? Also when it takes a long time to identify, is it just on the outside display or is it on the inside or both? thanks

Time Settings

Does anyone have any idea how to sync the time clock to the network time? With many of the Motorola and Nokia phones you can auto update the phone clock to the network time (its a typical setting). Is it possible with the MPX 220?

Also, does anyone know how to turn off the time sync with the laptop when syncing up the contacts / calendar w/ Outlook?

Thanks.

Holster?

I'd really rather not use a generic holster that covers everything, and I despise so leather wrap-around covers for flip-phones (like the one available now at Best Buy). Anyone have a handle on a plastic clip-like holster for the MPx220 similar to those that all other models of flip-phones have?

Using Calling Card with Cingular

I am trying to use a corporate calling card to dial international phone numbers. I need to do this on a regular basis. I have to dial an AT&T access number..pause..enter the passcode..pause..and then dial the international number I am trying to call. I entered the number as

(###)###-####PP##############PP############

and stored them in an unused contact field. This is excactly the way I did on my Sprint Treo.

When I attempt to use this, the phone dials the access number correctly and the AT&T response system picks up. However the passcode never gets dialed and the AT&T response system keeps requesting the passcode.

I have tried a variety of formats for the pause (no Ps, 1 P, 3Ps, wait, etc) and nothing seems to work. I can dia...

How to get email in outlook while on the road

I use Outlook for my email for work. My company uses a VPN in order to be able to access email on our laptops.

Does anyone out there know how to set-up the MPX 220 to be able to receive my work email over the air?

No one at Cingular or Motorola can seem to give me any insight. I cannot find anything on either companies website, what a surprise!

PLEASE HELP!!!
